I've actually had some free time lately, so I spent two days setting up a server. I'd like to have my own oekaki and some kind of textboard on Tor. About a month or two ago, I had my own oekaki for a whole 8 days wow, but I realized I'd set it up completely wrong. Back then, I just had oekaki running on Void Linux. Now I've set it up properly. I'm running Kicksecure as my host OS, and I set up the server on Whonix virtual machine >:) It was a pain in the ass to figure everything out though. While I was in the middle of setting everything up, I got tired and thought about going back to something like Alpine or Void Linux, but I got too fixated and it was worth it. Things kept not working for me, but I finally managed to set up Potiboard Evo. I also struggled for a long time trying to set up SSH, but I gave up... For now I have a working Potiboard. In a moment I'll try to set up Kareha textboard. I just hope my server configuration is correct because I'd shit my pants if someone hacked into it when I publish the links lol

I just realized I have 50 followers on Neocities. When did that happen?? :OO

..................................I think I had enough. I was struggling with this textboard but it keeps showing 404 error. I think that this one might be about something with whonix protections but I already wasted too mucgh time for this I will just stick up with oekaki for now

I must say that all linux music players are just shitty lol. I've tested a lot of them, but for some reason none of them has an option to display an entire music folder along with its subfolders and subfolders of subfolders. Instead, it lists all the songs, and everything is messed up, and I have no intention of wading through 1000 songs just to find a specific one. This makes me want to write my own music player. The problem is I don't know how to program. But maybe this is just the right project for me to start with

I keep thinking about what kind of security mistakes I've made. I don't know if they're serious or not, but even the fact that I logged into some website from my home IP address makes me paranoid. After all, I'm not doing anything suspicious or illegal, so why am I afraid? Actually, I don't have anything to hide, but I still feel the need to protect my privacy as much as I can. Just about a year ago I wasn't thinking about this all the time, and I wasn't this paranoid. The fact I'm writing about myself now is also a security mistake. Lately, I feel like everything is so disorganized

I've been thinking about buying a VPS and hosting my site on Tor. Is that a good idea? Then I'd have to take care of the site's security myself and watch out for attacks. When I have a site on Neocities, it's like I don't have to worry about that because Neocities takes care of protecting itself against attacks. The advantage would be that I'd have everything under my control, but at the same time, that would be a disadvantage because if I did something wrong, everything would come crashing down like dominoes.

I've noticed recently that it's easy to spot Poles online because they sometimes write 'XD,' 'xD,' and 'XDDDDD' when they're writing in English. 'XD' isn't that popular anymore, and honestly, aside from Poles, I don't think many people use it anymore. I recently saw someone in an OPSEC group writing about OPSEC and using 'XDDD'. They basically gave themselves away XD

I guess I have to accept that if I have my own website and something like a blog, I can't maintain a good opsec. After all, a blog is all about writing about yourself and what's going on around you. And to maintain good opsec, you're not supposed to do that!! Unfortunately, if I didn't do that, there wouldn't really be much point in having my own website. Other things, like drawing comics, are also really just a way of saying a little bit about myself. After all, artistic work can say a lot about the artist.

GrapheneOS is only supported on Google Pixel devices and I find it difficult to believe that Google has no influence over or interest in people using its hardware specifically to avoid Google's own data collection practices. That seems somewhat counterintuitive to me. I often wonder why Google hasn't locked down the bootloaders on its devices yet, since many other companies did so a long time ago. If Google hasn't done anything to make installing third-party operating systems more difficult, could it be because there are other ways for Google to maintain access to user data? For example, is it possible that there are hidden backdoors in the hardware or firmware? I wonder

ProtonMail used to criticize other services (such as Google and Microsoft) for creating ecosystems (and not being pivate ofc). Recently, I've noticed that they themselves have started to become an ecosystem by launching new services such as ProtonCalendar, ProtonPass, ProtonDrive, ProtonWallet, ProtonAuthenticator, ProtonMeet, and of course AI. It's a great and ironic example of a company starting to do exactly what it used to criticize so harshly. Promoting with claims like "privacy" or "security" is pointless since the platform begins to build this ecosystem and all its services become increasingly centralized, they become less and less private.

I've been listening to this song a lot lately. I really like it. But honestly, sometimes I feel a little embarrassed that I don't know much about Polish music, even though I'm from this country. But sometimes certain Polish songs really boost my ego, knowing that I come from a country where such great songs were created :) Also it makes me a little sad that many people don't get the chance to discover these songs simply because they aren't popular abroad. Maybe I should create webpage featuring various Polish songs so that people from other countries who aren't familiar with them can discover them?

I found someones laptop in trash and drive was not encrypted and there were logins and passwords on it. Some are still active and look literally like this:password1234, comamtunapisac, qwerty. In polish 'comamtunapisac' means 'whatdoiwritehere'. There were also photos of that person from their vacation in Portugal with their friends. You could basically figure out their whole life from that data. There was even a login and password for their bank account. Good thing I'm not the kind of person who would steal someone's data or money lol
